DESCRIPTION:											\n\nTo share the progress and results of the 6G research work and knowledge with the extended one6G community, one6G launches a series of open lectures. These interactive 2-hour online events are open to anyone interested in the world’s journey toward 6G.\nFollowing the success of the three previous lectures ( https://one6g.org/one6g-open-lectures-2022/ ), the Association is happy to confirm that the fourth Open Lecture in the series will take place on December 1, 2022, at 14h00 CET, covering the subject of “Flexible Programmable Infrastructures”. The event will feature presentations delivered by four high-level speakers, followed by an interactive Q&A session. She is a passionate entrepreneur and an ICT expert with a digital soul and consolidated hands-on experience in research and innovation funding, strategic consulting, training, communication, social media marketing, as well as business development of sustainable and innovative software solutions across several industry segments. Specialized in European Commission funding, with extensive domain knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Next Generation Internet technologies (IoT, 5G, Cloud/Edge, etc.), Monique assists Martel’s customers and partners with developing agile and efficient innovation strategies and plans. Having served the European Commission as an expert evaluator and reviewer for many years, Monique is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the European AI, Data and Robotics Association, the Director of the European Next Generation Internet Outreach Office, and a Coordinator of the European Next Generation Internet of Things Coordination and Support Action. In the last 20 years, Monique has been a speaker and moderator at several major scientific, technology, and policy events. She authored and edited many publications and R&D project proposals and served as program committee member of several international conferences. Monique holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy.\n14:05   Old ideas needed for 6G: Layering, controllability, and modularity\n																					\nHenning Schulzrinne\nLevi Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University\nBio\n	Prof.  Henning Schulzrinne, Levi Professor of Computer Science at\nColumbia University, received his Ph.D.  from the University of\nMassachusetts in Amherst.  He worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories and\nGMD-Fokus (Berlin), before joining the Computer Science and Electrical\nEngineering departments at Columbia University.  He served as chair of\nthe Department of Computer Science and as Engineering Fellow, Technology\nAdvisor and Chief Technology Officer at the US Federal Communications\nCommission (FCC) from 2010 to 2017.  In 2019-2020, he worked as a\nTechnology Fellow in the US Senate.\nHe has published more than 250 journal and conference papers, and more\nthan 70 Internet RFCs. Lopez\nSenior Technology Expert at Telefonica I+D\nBio\n	Dr Diego R. Lopez joined Telefonica I+D in 2011 as a Senior Technology Expert, and is currently in charge of the Technology Exploration activities within the GCTIO Unit. Before joining Telefónica he spent some years in the academic sector, dedicated to research on network services, and was appointed member of the High-Level Expert Group on Scientific Data Infrastructures by the European Commission.\nDiego is currently focused on applied research in network infrastructures, with a special emphasis on virtualization, data-driven management, new architectures, and security. When models mess around implicits and explicits\n																					\nRui L. Aguiar\nFull Professor at University of Aveiro\nBio\n	Rui L. Aguiar (born 1967) is currently a Full Professor at University of Aveiro. He is currently coordinating a research line in Instituto de Telecomunicações, on the area of Networks and Services. He is also a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, Jesus College. He has been serving as Steering Board Chair of Networld Europe, the European ETP representing the telecommunications community, engaged in the discussions of the future European R&D workprogrames for telecommunications. He has been previously been associated with Carnegie Mellon University, the Universidade de Uberlandia, and has been an advisory for the portuguese Secretaria de Estado das Comunicações and member of the task force for 5G cybersecurity. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a member of ACM. He is a regular keynote speaker in the future of mobile communications and digital society, with dozens of talks across the whole world. He is an associated editor of Wiley’s Emerging Telecommunication Technologies and Springers’ Wireless Networks. He has more than 500 papers published.\n15:20  Low-latency Network Slicing with Programmable Data Planes\n																					\nGeorg Carle\nChair on Network Architectures and Services at Technical University of Munich\nBio\n	Prof. Georg Carle holds the chair on Network Architectures and Services at Technical University of Munich (TUM). He conducts research on high-performance network technologies, network measurements, and network security. He studied electrical engineering at University of Stuttgart.\nStudies abroad included a M.Sc. in Digital Systems at Brunel University, London, and a stay at ENST Paris (now Telecom ParisTech). In 1996, he received his Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of Karlsruhe, and subsequently was postdoctoral scientist at Institut Eurecom, Sophia Antipolis, France, and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS, Berlin.\nIn 2003, he joined University of Tübingen as a full professor, from where accepted an offer from TUM in 2008.
