IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference
IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) is the world premier wireless event that brings together industry professionals, academics, and individuals from government agencies and other institutions to exchange information and ideas on wireless advancement communications and networking technology.
The 2022 edition of this important event will be held in Austin, Texas. WCNC 2022 will feature a comprehensive technical program offering numerous technical sessions with papers showcasing the latest technologies, applications and services. The conference program includes workshops, tutorials, keynote talks from industrial leaders and renowned academics, panel discussions, a large exhibition, business and industrial forums.
Following the motto of the conference, “Boosting Verticals into Wireless Orbit” and based on the ongoing work of the association, one6G will organize an industrial session titled “one6G view on enabling 6G technologies for verticals”. The session will feature a diverse group of one6G stakeholders who will discuss key enabling 6G technologies for different verticals (e.g., eHealth, industrial automation, transport, etc.). More specifically, the special session will cover:
- 6G use cases and essential requirements,
- the potential of non-terrestrial networks for 6G,
- AI/ML for massive MIMO in Open RAN,
- and ubiquitous joint communication and sensing.
