2nd Training School and Research Colloquium
The 2nd Training School and Research Colloquium on Next Generation Communications (NextGCom) with the focus on AI/ML for 6G Communication Networks will take place in Argostoli, Kefalonia (Greece).
The NextGCom 2025 event is co-organized by the one6G Association, the Ionian University, Z-RED L.P., the IEEE Communication Greece Chapter, and the International Hellenic University. Huawei is the Patron of the event that is endorshed and supported by IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Young Professionals, IEEE ComSoc Women in Communications Engineering (WICE), IEEE Future Networks Initiative, IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee in Information Infrastructure & Networking (TCIIN) and IEEE Student Branch at the IHU in Thessaloniki.
The main focus of NextGCom is for PhD/Early Stage Researchers to attend lectures from leading experts but also present their research outputs (and receive constructive feedback).
Main highlights include lectures delivered by nine renowned experts in Next Generation Communications and interaction between lecturers and participants.
IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Young Professionals, IEEE ComSoc Women in Communications Engineering (WICE) and the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee Innovation Fund for Emerging Technologies Initiative (ETI) – Backhaul/Fronthaul Networking will provide grants to support and encourage the participation of PhD and Early Stage Researchers.
