Working Group 3: Communication, Dissemination, and Liaisons

Led by Albena Mihovska (SmartAvatar), Working Group 3 is dedicated to enhancing the visibility and influence of the Association through strategic outreach, communication, and collaborations. The activities of WG3 ensure that one6G’s research and contributions are effectively communicated to key stakeholders within the 6G ecosystem and beyond, amplifying one6G’s visibility and impact. Additionally, WG3 plays a vital role in fostering communication and knowledge-sharing between all one6G working groups, ensuring unified messaging and a consistent narrative across all outreach channels.

Publications

This work item focuses on developing impactful positioning papers and white papers in collaboration with experts from technical work streams. Its goal is to establish one6G as a thought leader in the field by presenting insightful, well-researched, and forward-thinking perspectives.

Strategic outreach and promotion

This work item is responsible for managing and executing one6G’s communication and promotional activities, including:

  • Managing the one6G website.
  • Animating the Association’s social media channels to ensure consistent and engaging outreach.
  • Writing and publishing news articles, event reports, and other updates.
  • Creating and distributing the quarterly e-newsletter.
  • Designing and producing promotional materials such as brochures, infographics, and videos.
  • Organizing and promoting online and physical events, including one6G Open Lectures, the one6G Summit, and other key engagements.
  • Writing press releases and coordinating with the relevant media.
Liaisons and partnerships

This work item facilitates effective communication and collaboration with external organizations. Its key activities include:

  • Collaboration with related initiatives, associations, and research entities aimed at advancing the field while fostering mutual benefits (e.g., knowledge exchange, developing joint papers, co-organization of events, etc.).
  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships by coordinating the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and facilitating regular interactions with partners to identify synergies and ensure active collaboration.
