one6G Association and 6G Forum sign agreement to boost wireless communications research worldwide
At the one6G Summit 2023, the one6G Association and the 6G Forum have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote research, knowledge exchange, and the development of 5G and 6G technologies.
This agreement between the one6G Association and the 6G Forum encompasses a series of collaborative intentions. Both organizations will be actively involved in each other’s industry events, increasing their visibility. They have also agreed to contribute to each other’s publications, fostering an environment of shared knowledge. Their collaboration extends to the formulation of global standards in wireless communication, partnering with vertical industries for potential 5G/6G applications, and accelerating advancements in the wireless sector.
The 6G Forum provides a platform for industry participants to engage in 5G/6G R&D and collaboration. Supporting start-ups and small businesses, the 6G Forum seeks to aid progress in the knowledge and service sectors.
The one6G Association emphasises testing and endorsing wireless communication solutions. one6G actively support 6G research and standardisation, aiming for broader adoption of the technology across various sectors, including manufacturing, driving, e-health, and remote education.
