one6G Summit 2024 Best Demo Award
On September 5-6, 2024, the one6G Summit 2024 took place in Valencia, Spain. In addition to six sessions filled with expert presentations and lively discussions, the event provided a unique platform for researchers and innovators to showcase their ground-breaking prototypes and applications to an international audience. The exhibitors’ demo pitch sessions, which allowed the exhibitors to pitch their demos to the one6G Summit audience on the main event stage and the dedicated exhibition area offered an unparalleled opportunity to elevate the global visibility of both established and emerging concepts, solutions, and initiatives while fostering live discussions with top experts from industry, policy, and academia.
A total of 21 demos were presented during the one6G Summit, with the audience invited to vote for the best demonstrations. The winners were announced at the Best Demo Award ceremony, held on the afternoon of September 5, 2024.
The three best demonstrations selected by the one6G Summit 2024 audience:
- ‘Explainable AI Techniques for Self-Organized Networking’ by AiVader GmbH: The project, a collaboration between AiVader and TU Ilmenau, focuses on developing and demonstrating explainable AI techniques to enhance interpretability, trustworthiness, and performance using self-organized networking.
- ‘6G Robot Empowered by ISAC and Large Foundation Models – next steps’ by Huawei Technologies Duesseldorf GmbH
- ‘Game-Engine Fast Ray Tracing’ by iTEAM-UPV: This demo showed the performance of the Ray Tracing tool developed by the 6G Joint Innovation Centre. The tool is based on the Unreal Game Engine and runs faster than any other in the market on digital twins of several scenarios indoor and outdoors.
