one6G and Euromersive sign MoU to foster cross-field cooperation between wireless communications and XR

one6G and Euromersive signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the state-of-the-art crucial intersection between wireless communication technologies and the rapidly evolving field of XR and foster cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two fields. The MoU was signed at the EuCNC & 6G Summit in Antwerp by Prof. Mohammad Shikh-Bahaei, the President of one6G and Isabel de Peuter-Rutten, the President of Euromersive.

The MoU outlines various areas of cooperation, including the exchange of information and know-how, participation in relevant events, contributions to each other’s publications, and dissemination across the organizations’ respective networks. The collaboration and open dialogue between one6G and Euromersive are expected to bring significant benefits to both parties as they will provide a unique opportunity for the organizations to broaden their perspectives and develop new ideas and solutions.

During the signing ceremony, which took place at the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2024 in Antwerp, Prof. Mohammad Shikh-Bahaei commented, “The signing of this MoU highlights our association’s commitment to interdisciplinarity.” Isabel de Peuter-Rutten added, “This MoU underscores our organizations’ shared commitment to the development of a tech landscape where innovation is harmoniously aligned with ethical responsibility.
