one6G presented at 5G Forum
On May 8, 2023, one6G was represented at 5G Forum in Seville, Spain by Prof. Narcís Cardona, one of the vice-Chairmans of the one6G Board.
Prof. Narcís Cardona, Director of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM), Technical University of Valencia (UPV) and vice-Chairman of the one6G Board, delivered an insightful presentation titled, Why will the sixth-generation of mobile networks be necessary?
In his presentation, Prof. Cardona highlighted the efficiencies and improvements that 6G will bring and explained how its roll-out will transform our lives. He also introduced one6G , its objectives, vision, and the work carried out by the Association to date.
Prof. Cardona’s presentation was well-received and generated several questions from the audience.
The 5G Forum is an annual event that puts the advances of 5G technology on the stage, constituting a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge of the practical applications of this technology. The 6th edition of the 5G Forum was held in Seville, Spain in a hybrid mode. The event brought together 864 participants and almost 300 companies from Europe, Asia, and Americas.
